Teeny-tiny farm in the middle of somewhere…

Fall really is upon us isn’t it. I was out watering and pruning back dead-bits yesterday when I realized soon it will be time to try and plant my winter garden. The raised beds WILL be going in in a week (thanks to my hard work at um.. work, and a generous company that recognizes those of us that bust hiney on a regular basis) and with the beds will come a removable covering for those nights when it just gets too darned cold for the plants to be happy (yes pics will be forthcoming).

Right now the romas are nearly ready for picking. The green is starting to get it’s first blush of red. My lone canetelopue gets bigger by the day (about half the size of a tennis ball right now) and the corn just keeps on keepin on.
